Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

London Projects is a Chartered Construction Company based in Westminster. We specialise in the construction of super prime residential projects in premier postcodes such as Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair.
We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our growing in-house Project Management team. We currently have an opportunity for a Project/Senior Project Manager based at our head office in Central London, with regular visits to our sites.

We invite applications from highly organized and proactive individuals with a proven background in the high-end residential market, working for either main contractors or developers. The successful candidate should be comfortable overseeing multiple sites (values dependent on experience).

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for the client.
  • Ensuring all sites are H&S compliant.
  • Ensuring sites are clean and in line with corporate brand policies.
  • Identifying problems and offering solutions.
  • Managing multiple projects at any one time.
  • Delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Setting up projects with key in-house personal and sub-contractors.
  • Efficiently reviewing and managing labour and resource throughout the project duration.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager ensuring program and quality are controlled.
  • Working closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure cost control and accurate financial reporting.
  • Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Develop and execute comprehensive project programmes, encompassing project scope, timeline, and budget
  • Working closely with the in-house Electrical and Plumbing Engineers ensuring M&E quality on all projects.
  • Liaising with Architect/Interior Designers, co-coordinating and managing the design drawings and process.
  • Liaise closely with clients, architects, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment throughout the construction process.
  • Dealing with Local Authorities, Landlords and Managing Agents for consents and approvals.
  • Attending design team meetings, trade contractor meetings and client meetings
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing necessary measures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Essential Requirements

  • Good commercial acumen
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in prime residential construction projects (preferred but not essential)
  • In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
