Mechanical Supervisor
London Projects is a Chartered Construction Company based in Westminster. We specialise in the construction of super prime residential projects in premier postcodes such as Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of our projects including the man-management and monitoring of all mechanical staff on site, ensuring the highest consideration is given to complying with current regulations and specific client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentoring and managing all plumbing/mechanical staff on sites and monitoring performance levels including undertaking reviews of mechanical staff
- Audit Pro snagging report for the Mechanical installation
- Ensure mechanical O&M’s and RAMS are up to date
- Managing all mechanical sub-contractors
- Manage quality control within all sites including regular site audits
- Carry out progress meetings on sites including liaising with architects, clients and Project Managers/Site Managers
- Review Mechanical construction drawings and attend design meetings alongside the Mechanical Designer. Capture all mechanical changes from tender drawings to construction.
- Initial point of contact for any site issues
- Ensure all Health & Safety documentation and RAMS are completed and be the point of contact with the Health & Safety Manager and any external consultants
- Ensure that safety standards are understood, implemented and maintained by all team members and contractors
- Ensure all test packs are being completed
- Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor through weekly/bi-weekly meetings to monitor job progress
- Take ultimate responsibility for job delivery and carry out final inspections of all completed works
- Responsible for snagging after walk-through with Head of Technical Services
- Weekly & monthly forecasting for labour and liaising directly with the Resource Manager to ensure correct staffing levels across sites and work with the recruitment team to manage the annual apprentice recruitment
